A delightful goof ball who maintains the seductive aplomb of a ingenue while carrying around a massive head of twisted blonde hair, Nancy Travis is the kind of happy-go-plucky hottie who has secured ongoing roles on at least half a dozen network series, most of them intentionally comic. TV, of course, is a fleeting medium, even with reruns, but movies, thanks to video and DVD, play forever.
